More blood problems, 1 month for procedure

More bad news on the health front. After 4+ liters of water yesterday I still had problems giving blood. 2 nurses and 3 attempts (finally finishing with my left hand) to finally fill a testube equivilant to 2 tablespoons of blood. We tried to fill a second one for a CBC (Complete Blood Count), but I had already collapsed by then and barely got any blood into the tube, maybe a teaspoon, probably more like half of one.

Sore and cracky I returned to work to only be called by the specialist and find out it will be the 17th till I get an intial pre-visit with him and finally the procedure done on June 1st. You’ve got to fucking kidding me. All while the blood loss continues, I’m feeling weaker and weaker, and I don’t know what to do.

And I leave you with what shall worry me for the next month.

Bleeding in the digestive tract is a symptom of a disease rather than a disease itself. Bleeding can occur as the result of a number of different conditions, some of which are life threatening. Most causes of bleeding are related to conditions that can be cured or controlled, such as ulcers or hemorrhoids. The cause of bleeding may not be serious, but locating the source of bleeding is important.
