Enthusiasm

Met up with Eden, Kerrie, and ment to meant up with Sean but other things prevented that meeting, but long story short was able to exchange gifts with my friends and really got in the mood for a fun Christmas morning. I got a big scarf from Eden and soap and a shirt from Kerrie. Since I ended up having dinner in the Beaverton area I ended up spending the rest of the evening hanging out with Kerrie and Breonna since Kerrie wanted to open her presents at midnight. She got a lot of cool stuff from her grandma and Breonna made these sugar butter ball thingies that sound pretty good. Unfortunately unless I’m lucky I probably won’t get to try any since they take like a day and a half to make since they have to sit twice.

As everyone who really knows me, there’s one thing in this world I hate above everything else and that’s traffic. After I got off work early my brother dragged me out for last minute shopping. It was cool though because I got a chance to pick up Battle Star Season 1 and 2 plus Sirenity for amazingly cheaper than normal retail at Costco. We went back to Mom & Dad’s and played Xbox and Xbox 360 for the rest of the evening. The co-op multiplayer in Kameo is very interresting. Changes some of the boss fights signifigantly being 2 elements between 2 players at once.

Tonight was Jacob’s holiday party and I was the official unofficial photographer. It was a lot of fun and most everyone made it. The food was good, though personally I liked the home cooked feeling of the last year better. I know it’s more stress on Britta/Jacob but everyone seemed to chip in and it was a lot of fun to have more homestyle food for that party. Overall it was a great time. I crashed immediately after heading home.

Spent the evening in Azeroth enjoying the yule events, making gingerbread cookies, throwing snowballs, and of course owning newbs. It got frustrating when Ray and I tried an orange quest fighting 43 elites when he and I were just barely 41, but then left the last part of the evening owning massive amounts of spiders in a near by mine shaft.

After WoW fun was over, went over to Kerrie’s house to enjoy come cocoa while watching Breonna and Kerrie make a very unique looking tree. It was a festive combination of thongs, bras, corsets, c.f.m. shoes, and stockings thrown on a fake silver tree. Of course I got pictures and will make sure to post them later in my gallery.

Woke up this morning feeling like complete and total crap. Sore throat and all around head cold. Slept in quite a bit and got work done at home. Between ongoing SQL statements and christmas shopping maybe my brain and as a result my body is worn out. Blarg. At least I feel well enough to work.

Tonight I finished wrapping all my presents and getting them under the tree at Ray and Carrie’s house which is where we will be unwrapping family style Christmas morning. I’ll be passing my gifts to Brian, Josh, and Eden (through Josh) on Thursday and will most likely see Kerrie on Friday and have her open hers then.

All done. Mom, Dad, Ray, Carrie, Sean, Josh, Kerrie, Eden, Jeremy, and Brian all got gifts this year and I only blew $400 or so bucks on presents. No really, honest I did. Oh well it was fun shopping this year because I was able to get people what I wanted and not stress about the money aspect of it.

Today was a crazy driving tip after another. First this morning I had to take my parents to the airport to fly to Miami for the funeral under the affect of 30mph wind gusts. Then after the Dolphins won, I had an errand I needed to run out and do before starting on my homework this weekend and ended up getting caught out in the snowy roads for several hours. I finished my errand which turned into 2 errands, but the majority of the rest of my day was comprised of a lot of crazy, scary driving on a layer of ice and snow which I’m going to have to do more of that tomorrow morning as well. When I finally got home spent the rest of the evening fixing my laptop’s issues and working on the Meriwether proposal website.

So tonight was Ray and Carrie’s annual friend holiday party. It was pretty fun for what it was, but also just as I was arriving I got news that grand-pa passed away today. I’m kinda restless and worried because of how Dad is taking it. We’ll see how he’s doing. I know that I have up to 5 days I can take off for family leave if needed, we will see if I’ll need to use any of that time. It really depends on how it eventually hits me. Right now I’m restless but who knows how I’m going to feel in the morning or throughout the day tomorrow…

So… against my own good judgment I took not only 1 date, but 2 to the PREM holiday party, Kerrie and Tsipa. I compeltely blame Rasuli, Mark, and Jeff in that order. Apprently it caused a big “hub bub”, but whatever it was funny and entertaining. Fact of the matter was, both of the ladies wanted to go and I couldn’t say no. Especially since they both looked fabulous. Afterward we went to Voodoo and fun was had by all. Especially Kaleena table dancing.
