Enthusiasm

Forgot to mention, little Luna kitty is sick apparently. I’ve offered to Eden to help pay for a vet visit and any meds that the kitty needs. I miss her and don’t like to hear she’s not doing well. She has flees, hopefully she is just anemic because of the flees and just needs some TLC. She needs to get out of that hell hole known as Carol’s house.

Met with my x-wife Eden this evening. Needed to get her wedding dress that I still had to her as well as some other items that I ended up having. It was also Cathy’s birthday so I met the coffee coven gals at their usual locale at the Tanisbourne Coffee people. I even took the opportunity to drag Kerrie out of work hiding and get her to come out of her shell and be social with her friends which she hasn’t had/taken the time to do recently. Fun was had by all.

So not only am I tired as hell because omfg I’ve been up since 6 (Jez I should get to bed), but I learn that while I’m working on serious server issues first thing this morining, half the office is either “still drunk” or having a serious hang over from the night before’s festivities. Which is all fine and dandy… IF I was invited along. I mean hell I’m the single one here I’m the one who should be partying harder than anyone else in the office. Oh well at least my nip/tuck marathon is going well. Each season, each episode just keeps getting better and better.

WTF is THAT? Recently I’m not sure what it is. I’ve been getting up super early, going into work to be in camera, implementservers, and half the time am staying late somewhere between 6pm and 8pm. When I finally do get home I barely have enough time to do anything so I usually chat in Obsidian IRC, and then goto bed by 10:00. I think I’m gonna start watching Season 2 of Nip/tuck on my big screen so I can say I at least do something with my evenings on the weekday. /sigh. Well at least the good thing is my car gets to see me daily now…

So not only did I win the war, but I won on HARDENED difficulty which I was shocked I did so well on that level. Amazingly though VETERAN difficulty is psychotically harder. It’s a lot easier to walk around a corner and be dead at the blink of an eye. My gamer score is getting up there. Maybe now that I won the war I’ll get back into Tiger Woods and win some PGA tour matches.

Made a lot of changes today to my little ASP.NET ongoing project for Obsidian. Added a whole bunch of new features for GM’s and Admins to look around at players information as well as added a new bit of stat page showing our truly over time most dedicated players (the crazy ass veterans who’ve racked up the most total hours played). I plan on doing some more work on the Obsidian stat pages tomorrow that will start tracking client connection averages so we can see how well Obsidian grows over time.

Had a very relaxing day today involving a return to Norrath after a hard week and a half. Got a Smooth Onyx Torque in Time P1 and Barrier of Freezing Winds from Inny in P5. Plan on playing for the rest of the eve and maybe finishing up some work later. Half way through Time, Sean stopped by for about an hour so I had to break from EQ during that time, but returned just before Inny.

After some restocking I got to 299 alchemy, then did some farming of Lily’s to finish getting my 300 Master Alchemist title. Happy fun time.

I’ve come to the realization that to find the women I’m truly going to be attracted to, be interested in talking with, and overall women that I want… I need to go to more sophisticated locations like piano bars, martini bars, and places like Aura where there’s a higher class of women looking for higher class of men. At least there I’m in my element and I know I can control the room.

So Brian being overly efficient got us a new server rack from the Blazers and two 30 amp UPS units. Unfortunately because the sockets where the servers are only support up to 20 amps this means that we won’t be able to get the servers up and running tonight. I’m a bit disappointed because I wanted to spend the evening moving the services on the old servers to the new ones and then spend part of the weekend playing on the web server. I guess it’ll be postponed a bit. Brian said he’d try to get the servers on-line for me tomorrow. At least we are shooting pool and enjoying wine and conversation.

Today I am having such dry skin on my eye brow, nose ridge, nose, and face that it’s amazingly painful. I’m going to put my face through a 3 cycle regiment of putting a hot soaking washcloth on it for 10 minute periods along with moisturizing 3 times after. We’ll see if it’s better.
