So I’m going to Dallas! Even though it’s the damn reddest state in the nation, it’s still cool because it’s my first ever work related trip. Realcomm is a technology meets real estate management convention and is filled with geeky workshops on cool websites to coool database designs to lots of other cool shit. Sure it’s right after my birthday but who cares! I’ll still get a good 3 day weekend for my birthday.

My buddy Ben has made a druid on our server to possibly level him up and show us the ropes on some high end raiding. I of course sent him a bunch of bags and helped him out on some newbie quests. Will probably be a while before he gets that druid up in level because right now he’s focusing on his Cenarian Circle faction or some shit. It’s good to have good friends who are drama free. I really appreciate Ben’s friendship over the years.

Tonight after talking to Eden online, she told me tonight was meetup and recommended I come. So I did. Haven’t been to Fireside in a long time so it was fun going back there again and seeing people I haven’t in a long time. Eden’s doing great with her glass work and as usual I was pretty shocked at how friendly she’s being. Of course it could be a front and she could be uncomforatable as hell behind a wall of smiles and laughs. Oh well I don’t care all I know is I got to see people I hadn’t in a while and relax a bit with a bunch of pagans. There was a new guy that contributed a lot, does a lot of divination/psychic stuff. Very cool.

So Sean has lied to me for the last time. Why does he have to lie about simple shit? Why does he need to be in control of everything? Why does he have to be such a goddamn fucking tool? Today after he lied to me and Thrarr repeatedly I setup my own WoW Roster on www.ironserpents.com and learned that you simply need 1 more addon and to enter the password in UniUploader to update the roster. This is all Sean needed to tell us and give us access to, but refused telling lies and other bullshit saying there was some bullshit automated software that updated it every 12 hours. After confronting him on it, he continued to back his story and I told him I’d go ahead and tell everyone to use the ironserpents.com roster. He then ended the conversation and later that night when he logged on he disbanded and joined Aura seconds later and I quote “Thanks for kicking me in the ass man. Now I’m part of a shweet raiding guild.”. This after screwing Madmordigan from getting the Helm of Narv and not returning several items that ended up in his possession before SerpentBank was made.

In a nutshell I’m sick and tied of his bullshit and I doubt I’ll speak to him much again. I mean yes this is just a game, but it’s not the game or drama in the game that’s ruining the friendship, it’s him and his bullshit. His attitude, his lies, his controlling attitude is every where and is seen in everything he does. Good riddence to bad rubbish.

Tryon Creek as usual was a beautiful hike. We did a completely different side from what we did before and it was a pretty hard hike. In parts it was super steep and in other parts almost completely flat. One thing that sucks is in the middle of the hike I knocked my pedometer off my belt and I guess the batter shook loose and I lost all the data for the first half of the hike and days before. I think it was roughly about 5-6 miles in 2 hours.

On a side note, we saw the Divinci Code after the hike and lunch and let me tell you it’s so awesome. I’m totally inspired to read the book now when/if I have free time to do so. Well done and to all the critics, they can bite my ass.

I must say it’s nice to see how much we are growing. We have a nice core group of members now and are doing instances daily. One thing we are lacking is healers and I keep contemplating switching from Lock to Anti lock and going to a priest. Yes I’ll be a switcher if I do that. LOL. Anyhow people are really starting to get involved with the website and Plaghe especially has been a great addition to our guild. Teamspeak has been super helpful and fun.

So today the Divinci Code comes out and everyone’s talking about it in some way, either good or bad. Oddly enough over my afternoon coffee I read the reviews and saw that the NE and the NW all like the movie but the middle of the Country (take that as either Red states and/or Religious Wrong) don’t like the movie. Odd huh? Honestly I don’t care. If you take a book that holds the record for longest on the Best Seller’s List and on of the best directors/actors of today it can’t suck. So Kerrie and I are gonna go see it this coming Sunday after our hike.

After yet another very pathetic Alterac Valley battle, I decided to try to do some WSG and AB with Cordo. I’m glad I did because first in WSG he grabbed the flag while I sat back and protected it on our end. It was a very nice, clean 3 cap for a win. Then in AB I defended key areas (BS/Farm) and he went and raised hell in other areas. I can only image how nice a full group of Serpents going into a WSG or AB would be. I talked to Cordo and thanked him for restoring my faith in what a good group of Horde can accomplish in the battlegrounds. He assured me we will be doing more guild grouped WSG and AB’s. He also pointed out I need to continue (as painful as it is) on working on my AV rep. There are REALLY sick items for Exalted including a +36 spell damage/healing offhand item. That combined with the Exalted AB dagger and I’d be a DPS god like Warlock Warlord Voltaire (spelling?) which I ran into last night in AB.

More new hotness. Ed asked me today to write a reporting system for the meter readings database I created earlier this month and I got it done quickly and efficiently. We noticed a lot of problems with a lot of the data though. Hopefully we can get some of that corrected and enter some of the missing data this month so the reports are usable and give us some nice information.
