Family Time

Published by Cybervic under Family

I haven’t been taking enough time for family time recently, but today I made sure to meet up with not only my folks but my brother and sister for some family dinner time. As usual my brother was a giant asshole in reference to me bettering myself, calling me gay, etc. I know he doesn’t mean it, that he’s just insecure about himself and is jealous about the progress I’m making that he doesn’t have the discipline to lose weight and make himself better. Oh well, it was pretty good family time though.

EDIT: Ended up passing out and not even working out (arm night even, arg…)

Goodbye old friend

Published by Cybervic under PREM

Today I say goodbye to the old PREM website. I’ve made changes today that makes everything in the past obsolete and the change that is coming inevitable. It’s sleek, it’s professional, it’s an integrated solutions that everyone in IT is excited about. It’s progress but at the same time it’s hard to let go of something I worked so hard on for so long. I guess if I put it into context with my old life, there are things I’ve sluffed off in the wave of change and life’s only gotten better. I’m hopeful with what kind of “new hotness” this site it going to bring to the company.

Tickets Purchased

She Wants Revenge @ Berbati’s Pan

Thanks to 947.fm I pre-ordered my ticket early and I can’t wait till Tuesday when their album comes out officially. On my lunch break I’m heading to the nearest store that has it on the shelves and picking it up. It’s going to be entertaining to see how fast the tickets for the “I saw them when… show #12″ is going to sell out.

Dragonfly

Published by Cybervic under Friends

What else to do on a nice relaxing non-raining Saturday afternoon? That’s right wash your car! Ok so I didn’t wash the outside but I gave the inside surfaces a nice cleaning with surface protectant and treated the leather. I plan on maybe also windexing the windshield once the leather drys off. Balliwood Techno night at the Fez and hopefully going with my buddy Alex who I haven’t seen in years.

Nasty

Published by Cybervic under Dating

I now know how women feel when some nasty smelling guy comes over and dances near them. It doesn’t matter how hot he is, if he’s smells like nasty sweat then it’s just not sexy. Tonight I went to Aura and was having a damn good time. I even had like 4 pretty cool women dancing with me up on the stairs. Then all of a sudden this decently sexy black woman comes over with a jean skirt one and my nasal passages have never been more assaulted in my entire life. She smells like dirty nasty period plus a hint of sex. It was so bad I had to leave the entire area and I could smell it (as I’m sure everyone else could) who was anywhere near the stairs, even downstairs.

So ladies and germs, please not just for me but for the rest of mankind… just say YES to soap. Especially if you’re going out to a public place where people get hot and sweaty.

It’s a small world after all…

Published by Cybervic under Misc

Small interesting world. Apparently from reading Laura’s LJ I come to find out she works for 92.3 Classic Rock. I found this out while browing her LJ and chatting with Gustav about my new iBall. So I told him that I have been talking back and forth with someone onling who works for 92.3 and asked him if it was an Entercom station (being just recently at the studio to get my iBall I thought I remembered it being one of the logos in the lobby)…

Gustav: Yes, the studio is right next to ours in the building. Who have you been talking with?
TheCyberVic: Laura
Gustav: Blonde Laura?
TheCyberVic: Yeah. Smokes, tyring to kick the habit. Likes alternative.
Gustav: Haha, aren’t we all…
TheCyberVic: Goes to a lot of concerts, A LOT of them
Gustav: Yeah, I see her almost every day. She’s cool.
…(talked about web development stuff)…
TheCyberVic: Well if you bump into Laura, tell her CyberVic says hi.
Gustav: Haha, I will!

Small world huh?

The Weekend

Published by Cybervic under Family, PREM

Hurray for the weekend. I’ve successfully in 2 days come up with 2 different designs, had Brian pitch them to Rhonda and Jacob, and they signed off on one and I finalized it into the ASPX portion of the site. It’s different from the flash just subtly but at the same time it’s just like the flash. Now I have the joy of making everything else work on the back end of the site work with the new layout. We’ll see how it goes. All I know is I made it to the weekend with a finalized goal accomplished cleanly wrapping up my “alternative” work week.

New LJ Friends

Published by Cybervic under Friends

Laura (aka euphoria91 here in LJ land and aka Panacea in MySpace land) finally replied to my last MySpace message. I thought some how I had scared her off, but understandably she’s been busy. I swear I don’t bite THAT hard (*whisper*) and only if you ask nicely. Anyhow added Laura (euphoria91) to friends here on LJ. Also finally added my buddy Sean (dxbroadband) who apparently finally joined the LJ universe.

St. Martin

Published by Cybervic under Family

My parents returned from the island of St. Martin this evening and gave us the run down on my Grandfather’s estate. It’s a whole bunch of drama but nicely it’s not stemming from my dad’s brothers and sisters but rather from my grandfather’s 12 other siblings. Suffice to say other than squabbling over small pieces of land it’s all resolved. My parents want to take semi annual trips to the islands with Ray/Carrie and I (separately) to show us where Dad came from. I mean we’ve been there before but it was when we were toddlers. My mom splurged and got me a nice hand crafted Italian 14K white gold bracelet with a soft black stone inlay. It matches nicely actually with my new titanium bracelet.

Nothing Special

Published by Cybervic under Family

Nothing special happened today other than last night at around 8:30 I seriously started feeling ill and carried over to today. I didn’t go into work today because I was feeling so shitty. Still feeling a bit shitty overflow even this late in the evening.

I did drag myself out of the house long enough to pick up my iBall and plug it in today though. It’s a truly cool piece of technology and will assist in me working out because I can start a play list on my PC and then take the iBall wherever I’m working out whether it’s in my bedroom or in the gym. I can even take the iBall into the bathroom and listen to music in the shower in the morning or take it downstairs while cleaning. Once I get my iPod it will of course have even more functionality but works pretty well right now without one. The sound is amazing considering it’s shape and size. Only thing that annoys me right now is I don’t know how to set the time on the frackin thing (it has a digital clock on the face).
