I’ve been solving problems, writing code as long as my memory serves me; it’s not just my job or my hobby, it a way of life. Whether it’s a side project or part my day job, my joy is seeing the tangible end product come to life and how it changes people’s lives or improves the way they do their jobs. My goal in my carrier has always been to push the envelope of not just my development skills, but all my skills. As you can see from my resume, I have an extensive knowledge of all kinds of things from Desktop Publishing and Design, to Networking, to Development. Regardless of the task, there has yet to be a project I couldn’t follow through on, even if I didn’t know how to do it going into the project. Being challenged to do things I’ve never done before is what continually drives me forward as an individual to learn, expand, and hone my skills.
My carreer is an ever changing, expanding journey with more and more leadership in the future. 10+ years of experience with many different sized companies has given me a wealth of knowledge about not only proper application design, but also best practices of doing business. With a strong base in windows and web application development, I’m currently pursuing my Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems with a specialty in Systems Analysis and Integration. I have an amazing 4.0 gpa, on the Dean’s List, and plan to finish my degree toward the end of the Summer 2009.
In my spare time, I participate in many online communities. “Hit it like you mean it” a Massively Multiplayer Online Guild, has been a personal project for me to hone my leadership, management, and analytical skills for almost 2 years now (http://www.hititlikeyoumeanit.com).
